Fire!
The above photo was taken about a block away from where I live (Crescent Avenue). There were at least 8 engines, and they were fighting it for at least two hours.
So, here’s the plan for the future of this blog. As you can probably tell, I haven’t had much time to update since November. I’ve had way too many things going academically and personally, and simply haven’t gotten the chance to go out and take new pictures. Once the summer arrives, I hope to have more time to go on walks, get some fresh air, and get back into the habit of updating about once a week.
In other news, I’m seriously considering buying a new telescope and buying an adapter that will allow me to get into astrophotography. I’ve been looking at various telescopes and have been finding some great deals! Just about every model I’ve looked at is at least 50% off the list price! The only catch is I will have to leave the city whenever I have to use it. That eliminates the big 8-in Dobsonian truss-tube, but there are some nice reflectors that are within my utility range. I’ll post more details about this when I know them.
In any case, enjoy this photo for now.

Look forward to the astrophotography! Kudos xoxo
